A to Z
BBW’s Project A to Z
Biking for a Better World began in 2006 with four friends who dreamed of biking from Alaska to Argentina. The idea grew into a monumental project and a school was built in Nicaragua as the riders rolled across countries and continents—more than 15,000+ miles in eight months, unsupported—from the beginning of the road to the end. It was through this endeavor that the non-profit was born.
Project A to Z is BBW’s goal to complete 26 rides covering all the letters of the alphabet. Previous rides, involving our founders, which helped to spark the creation of BBW and Project A to Z include Buffalo to Burbank (2001) and Tahoe to Texas (2003). BBW has since completed Alaska to Argentina (2007), Montana to Mexico (2009), and Seattle to San Diego (2010). With 23 letters to go, we will need riders to join us in our quest to ride from A to Z.
