Get Involved

We are a California 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, established 2006.  Our mission is to use the power of pedaling to bring bicycles to people who need them.  Through charity bike tours, rides, and annual fundraisers, we raise awareness and funds for communities in need of bicycles to improve their quality of life.  We share our passion for the bike, inspiring and enabling others to ride. In essence, we transform the act of pedaling into a force to make the world a better place.

 

A donation of $25 or more includes a one-year membership.  You will receive emails containing news of upcoming events, rides, and projects. Members are encouraged to pursue their own ideas about “biking for a better world.” There are many ways for our members to stay involved, whether by making donations to support our programs, checking our website, reading our e-newsletter, attending our rides and events, or just spreading awareness about our mission.

Volunteer

Create Your Charity Bike Tour

Biking for a Better World is happy to help you plan and promote a charitable bike tour. Money raised through rides organized by Biking for a Better World will directly benefit BBW’s programs. We encourage you to contact us at least six months prior to your ride date to utilize our resources to promote, plan and support your adventure. Please email your ideas to info@bikingforabetterworld.org

Become a Chapter President

Biking for a Better World is looking to expand its reach outside of current locations. We need individuals who are passionate and motivated cyclists to help bring Biking for a Better World programs to their hometown. By becoming a chapter president you will be responsible for planning two annual events, and building a membership base in your area. For more information please email info@bikingforabetterworld.org
